About Prone to Wander

At Prone to Wander, we believe faith isn't meant to stay indoors. It's meant to be walked out — up trails, across rivers, into weather you didn't plan for. Founded in 2025, we create apparel for the hiker, the camper, and the quiet-morning-on-the-summit kind of believer: people whose faith gets tested and deepened in creation.

Our name comes from two places at once — the old hymn line, "prone to wander, Lord I feel it," and the literal act of wandering into the wild. That tension is the whole point. We don't think wandering is the opposite of faith. We think it's often how faith grows.

Every design starts with scripture, not a slogan. We pair verses with the landscapes that bring them to life — desert, mountain, river — because we believe the wilderness is where wandering hearts meet a God who doesn't let go of them. And because this gear is meant for the trail and not just the closet, we hold ourselves to the same standard outdoors brands do: durable fabrics, comfortable fits, and construction that can take a real hike.

We're not interested in faith that looks good on a t-shirt but never leaves the house. Prone to Wander exists for people who take their questions, their doubts, and their belief out into creation — and come back a little more sure of who they belong to.
